What is Kauswagan Youth Conference

The Kauswagan Youth Conference (KYCON) shall convene the members of Kauswagan United Youth Assembly and serve as the highest policy-making body of the youth of Barangay Kauswagan. It will provide a participatory platform where youth representatives discuss on proposed programs, projects, and policies that address the needs and aspirations of the youth sector.The Conference is scheduled to be held on August 21, 2026, during which project proposals developed by the various conference committees will be presented, and endorsed. The endorsed proposals shall serve as the basis for the formulation and approval of the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP).Prior to the Conference, a series of Committee Hearings shall be conducted to identify priority youth concerns, develop project proposals, and refine committee recommendations. These hearings will ensure that all proposals presented during the Conference are well-consulted, evidence-based, and responsive to the needs of the youth of Barangay Kauswagan.
